On December 24 of this year, the staff of the B. Mailin Museum of Local Lore organized a New Year’s quest game called “Journey for the New Year” for students of the Krasnoselskaya school on the eve of the winter holidays.
An exciting game program with elements of an educational journey awaited the participants. The children got acquainted with the history of the New Year celebration, its traditions and symbols, learned about the images of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, and also took part in themed stations with games, riddles and creative tasks.
During the quest game, the children performed tasks for attention, dexterity, logic and ingenuity, solved winter riddles, remembered the heroes of New Year’s and winter fairy tales, collected “numbers” for the magic clock, on which the New Year depended.
The finale of the event was the solemn appearance of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, the restoration of New Year’s clocks and the presentation of sweet gifts to the participants.
The event was held in a warm, festive atmosphere, giving the children joy, positive emotions and a New Year’s mood.
