As part of the celebration of the International Museum Day, the museum staff conducted an interactive tour for students of the 2nd grade of the secondary school named after Beimbet Mailin. During the tour, the children got acquainted with the history of their native land, learned about famous countrymen whose names are inscribed in the annals of history. Special attention was paid to the bright and unique exhibits of the museum’s collection, from archaeological finds to household items from past centuries. The tour was organized in the form of a lively dialogue, the children were happy to answer questions, share their knowledge and impressions. The young guests were particularly interested in the “museum without prohibitions” format — the children could not only see the exhibits, but also touch them with their hands, which made the tour especially fascinating and memorable. They were holding antique objects in their hands, trying on hats. The children left with vivid impressions, new knowledge and a sincere interest in the history and culture of their region.
