“You are the sound of the Great Steppe!” music hour

On the first of July, the country celebrates the National Dombra Day and today the children of the children’s recreation ground took part in the musical hour “You are the sound of the Great Steppe!” organized by the museum staff. During the event, the participants got acquainted with the history of the musical instrument and the legends associated with the dombra, shared their impressions and feelings that arise when listening to performances by virtuosos, solved the melodies of the dombra, played games. At the end of the event, the students demonstrated their dombra playing skills.
