Ganochenko Andrey Gordeevich was born on March 10, 1917 in the village of Nikolaevka, Taranovsky district. He was drafted into the Red Army in 1943. He fought in the 183rd Infantry Regiment and was wounded. He was demobilized in 1945. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, medals “For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945“, jubilee medals, the medal “Veteran of Labor“. In the post-war years, he worked as a procurement worker. He died on May 7, 1988, and was buried in the village of Taranovskoye.
