He was born on June 6, 1923 in the village of Viktorovka, Taranovsky district. In 1942, he was sent to the front as a private soldier. He participated in battles, liberating the territories of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, and Germany. He was shell-shocked in the battles. He was demobilized in 1949. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, jubilee medals. After the war, he began his career in the district Department of Internal Affairs. In 1968, he went on a well-deserved vacation. He and his wife Anna Petrovna raised 3 children.
