Thematic excursions for the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan “Heroes of the undeclared war”

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, employees of the local history museum conducted thematic excursions on the topic: “Heroes of the undeclared war” for students in grades 5-8 of secondary schools named after Beimbet Mailin, Sapar Yergaliev and Krasnoselskaya secondary school, paying special attention to the exhibition dedicated to to internationalist soldiers. During the excursion, the guys got acquainted with materials dedicated to the event of that time – photographs, documents, personal belongings of Afghans, telling about the service and military operations in Afghanistan. Let us add that the excursions were organized with the aim of instilling in students a sense of patriotism and pride in their fellow countrymen, as well as to foster a tolerant attitude towards each other.
